These thobes are crafted from a carefully selected wrinkle-resistant fabric designed to maintain a refined appearance throughout the day. While no premium fabric is ever completely wrinkle-free, this material naturally creases far less than standard fabrics. Minor folds from sitting, movement, or travel are inevitable, but the fabric is engineered to relax quickly. When worn, it holds its shape beautifully, and when hung, it naturally falls back into its original form with minimal effort, often smoothing itself without the need for ironing. A thobe (also spelled thawb, thaub, or thob) is a long-sleeved, ankle-length robe traditionally worn by men across the Middle East. It is generally worn mostly by Muslims but is not exclusive to just them. It is made from breathable fabrics, that would be suitable in warmer climates.
Japanese cotton thobes are the most sought after thobes in the Middles East. At Al Aniq they are the popular due to their quality and durability. We also have thobes in shiny polyester which is generally worn in the West. Our short sleeve thobes are made with cotton blend. We also have thobes made from Terry rayon fabric which slightly thicker, made for the colder climate.
