Al Aniq USA sells men's embroidered thobes, shipped the same day from our US warehouse. Choose gold embroidery on a white collar thobe or a green Emirati cut, or detailed placket embroidery in light taupe. All three are made from Japanese cotton and handcrafted in the UAE. Delivery takes 3 business days, free over $150.

An embroidered thobe adds detail without needing extra accessories. It is a natural choice for Eid, weddings and other celebrations. Each embroidered thobe on our US store is designed in-house and handcrafted in the UAE by tailoring specialists, then quality-checked before it ships.

The embroidery is the focus, so a simple outfit around it is usually enough. Many men keep the rest of the look plain and let the detail on the chest or placket do the work.

How to choose an embroidered thobe

Look at where the embroidery sits and how bold it is.

The M113 White Collar Thobe With Gold Embroidery has gold embroidery down the chest. It is our best-selling US thobe, at $87.99.

The M106 Light Taupe Collar Embroidery Thobe has intricate embroidery along the placket. The warm, neutral color makes it easy to wear beyond white.

The M120 Green Emirati Thobe With Gold Embroidery is a collarless Emirati (kandura) cut with gold embroidery, at $69.99.

Fabrics

All three embroidered thobes are made from Japanese cotton, a natural fiber with a soft feel. See the full range in our Japanese cotton thobes.

Caring for embroidery

Embroidery lasts longer with gentle care. Wash on a gentle cycle or by hand, and iron on the reverse side so you do not press directly on the thread. Always check the care label first.

Sizing

Choose your length by height. For example, 5'6"–5'7" is a 54, 5'8"–5'9" a 56 and 6'0"–6'2" a 60. Then pick M for slim, L for regular or XL for wide. Use our thobe size finder to confirm. For a wedding, browse our wedding thobes.
