Al Aniq USA sells men's Emirati thobes, also known as kandura, shipped the same day from our US warehouse. Our collarless Emirati cuts are made from Japanese cotton and finished with gold embroidery, in green or black. Each one is handcrafted in the UAE by tailoring specialists. Delivery takes 3 business days.

The kandura is the traditional robe worn by men in the UAE. It has a collarless neckline and a clean, long line. Ours are designed in-house and handcrafted in the UAE, so the cut stays close to how it is worn there. Every piece is quality-checked before it ships from our US warehouse.

Many men choose a kandura when they want something lighter in feel than a collar thobe but still dressed up enough for an occasion.

How to choose a kandura

Both of our Emirati thobes are $69.99 and share the same cut. The choice comes down to color and how much the embroidery stands out.

The M120 Green Emirati Thobe With Gold Embroidery pairs a deep green with gold detail. It suits celebrations and Eid visits.

The M121 Black Emirati Thobe With Gold Embroidery keeps the embroidery understated. It works for evening events and anyone who prefers a quieter look.

Fabrics

Both kandura are made from Japanese cotton, a natural fiber with a soft feel. If you want the same fabric in other cuts and colors, browse our Japanese cotton thobes.

Sizing

Choose your length by height. Men 5'3"–5'5" usually take a 52, 5'10"–5'11" a 58, and 6'3" and taller a 62 (message our team on WhatsApp to confirm). Then pick M for slim, L for regular or XL for wide. A traditional kandura falls just above the ankle. Our thobe size finder guides you through it.

When to wear it

An Emirati thobe fits Eid, weddings, dinners and family gatherings. For more pieces with gold detail, see our embroidered thobes. If you prefer a tassel at the neckline, compare our Omani thobes.
